Please tell us a bit about your professional background, what attracted you to working at Gazprom Energy, and how long you’ve been with the business.
I started working in the industry 10 Years ago, my first job was in 2011 for a small energy brokerage after finishing University.
From there I joined Gazprom Energy in the fixed contract team to experience the supplier side of the energy world. Then to develop my knowledge in the flexible electricity and gas market, I took a job at Bergen Energi - now Kinect who are a large energy consultancy.
However, as I enjoyed the culture and people at Gazprom Energy so much, I returned to the business around 4 years ago into the corporate team.
What is your position within the team, and what does your role involve day-to-day?
I’m a Corporate Account Manager, my role predominantly involves managing a variety of customers and partners to ensure we deliver an excellent service.
What makes Gazprom Energy different to other business energy suppliers?
We’re agile and humble, even though we’ve grown to become a large organisation. We always strive to improve and don’t rest on our laurels - this is what makes us unique.
What do you find enjoyable and satisfying about your role within the business?
The main enjoyment I get from the role is providing great service to our customers, ensuring their energy purchase and management process is hassle free.
What skills has your role enabled you to develop, and how do you put these into practice to benefit our customers?
I find the key skills I’ve developed are excellent organisational, listening and communication skills. Ensuring we ask the right questions, listen to our customers and partners needs is key, then we can provide them with a solution that’s tailored to them and their requirements.
