Partner Account Manager - TPI

The key objective of this role will be to support the expansion of the Gazprom Energy Matrix Product in the UK in terms of new business margin, product and number of sites, by building relationships with a portfolio of Brokers / TPI’s. You will manage all aspects of the relationship with the majority of time being spent contacting your base via the telephone to keep regular contact and promote the Gazprom Energy brand. You will be required to attend occasional face to face meetings with your key relationships to conduct review meetings and meet the teams you are working with. A commercially focused, creative and driven approach is required to develop an efficient relationship model that will successfully achieve the financials/ site numbers required including growing both new business pipelines, managing contract renewals, increasing and promoting the usage of the Broker Portal. All in an effective and efficient manor resulting in increased levels of business, margin, go live rates and reducing attrition from your allocated broker / TPI base

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships within a designated portfolio of brokers / TPI’s to increase the level of business and maximize profit levels provided to Gazprom Energy
  • Ensure regular contact with your broker / TPI base, enhance service levels at every opportunity
  • Increase new business sales to meet and exceed the target set (no’s sales, volume, margin etc.)
  • To devise strategies to address these targets and ensure business is driven and retained by relationship based focus
  • Ensuring within your broker / TPI portfolio that minimum renewal rate of 75% is achieved
  • Manage the objections rate within your portfolio base to support the above
  • Drive increased usage of the Gazprom TPI portal
  • Ensuring that the ‘’go live’ rate with your designated broker / TPI base is 85%+ live first time
  • Provide pricing support for multi – site sales as required
  • Provide regular reports on the performance of your designated broker / TPI portfolio
  • Take ownership for identifying customer service issues impacting upon your designated broker / TPI portfolio and work with your operational colleagues to address and improve these
  • Improve the overall levels of customer satisfaction from your designated broker / TPI base and for the SME sector overall
  • Identify process and office automation improvements and efficiencies and with the team ensure these are deployed in an effective and timely manor
  • Assist in reducing the cost to acquire and cost to serve within the TPI channel
  • Work both individually and within a team to ensure all targets are met
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service
  • Make both internal and external presentations to both colleagues, your designated portfolio of brokers / TPI’s and other third parties when required
  • Support the internal pricing automation process and the price requirements / queries of your designated broker / TPI base by dealing with exceptions and enquiries as they occur
  • Work closely with our marketing team to maximise sales opportunity, manage ad-hoc campaign delivery
  • Work with internal departments to target most profitable sectors
  • Ensure efficient flow of information between the Sales Team and Internal departments
  • Ad-Hoc reporting as required

Experience

  • Proven track record in business development/sales
  • Knowledge of the UK gas and/or power industry (ideally B2B)
  • Previous experience of building key relationships (TPI/Brokers)
  • Demonstrable experience in an Account management / Sales positions
  • Knowledge of B2B energy sector desirable
  • Ability to hit / exceed sales and business targets
