Role Objectives

The Senior Metering & AMR Analyst is responsible for the management of processes for installation of an AMR meter. In addition, all industry aspects relating to Site Works activities for both Gas & Power will also be actioned within this role.

This result will be achieved by supporting the Metering Manager in creating processes that deliver exceptional customer service across the business, creating strategies and implementing processes that allow our existing businesses to continue to grow whilst developing into new business areas which are in line with the Gazprom Energy and Gazprom Marketing & Trading strategic company goals

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Metering Manager with the day to day operations of the team to provide best in class service by being a first point of contact for Power Metering, AMR and Sitework Activity escalations
  • Ensuring AMR installation activities are within industry guidelines and in line with business KPI’s
  • Ensuring that management of third party relationships is documented and reported and supported through weekly or monthly representation at Operational meetings or calls.
  • Ensure that the RGMA process involving appointments and de-appointments, and sitework activities are measured and actioned to prevent dual billing within industry standards
  • Provide liaison to MAMs, Gas Suppliers, Gas Networks and Gas Suppliers for all GE assets
  • Provide liaison to MOPs, Distribution Networks and Suppliers for all GE assets
  • Provide meter management service which includes validation, management of exceptions whilst ensuring that regulatory projects i.e. P272, 732 are managed and instigated.
  • Ensure that failures under Guaranteed Standards are investigated and reported.
  • Management of cases where there has been a theft of Gas or Electricity.
  • Ensure compliance and management of the Meter Exchange Programme with our preferred MAM
  • Provide a meter management service that ensures accurate billing and settlement
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers that ensure the efficient running of the team.
  • Documentation and maintenance of all related business processes
  • Actively contribute to developing our systems and processes, to ensure we can manage growth and deliver service to industry partners and internal and external customers

  • Substantial experience in a Power and Gas meter, read and billing role, ideally within the energy industry


  • Degree educated (or equivalent qualification) or relevant work experience
