It was time to celebrate in March, when we held our annual employee awards ceremony at our head office in Manchester.
We got the whole Gazprom Energy team together to celebrate their achievements throughout 2018 when we revealed our Think Like a Customer (TLC) and Living our Values (LOV) stars, as well as our Team and Manager of the Year.
Our internal ethos is to ensure we always place the customer at the heart of everything we do, so these awards provide a fantastic opportunity to reward those that live and breathe our company values and consistently go the extra mile for our customers.

Paul’s peers described him as instrumental, committed and supportive. His work ethic was praised and so was his wealth of knowledge. These are just a few reasons why Paul won LOV star of the Year.
Tom was recognised for always having the customer’s best interest at heart, going the extra mile and always having a smile on his face. His colleagues described him as conscientious, exceptional and dedicated.
This team won because of their hard work, dedication and team work during what was a very tough year. The team was understaffed but still managed to exceed their new business and renewal targets due to the great relationships they have with customers and their consultants.
Sharon was described in her nominations as someone who leads by example, is optimistic and strives for continuous improvement. Last year Sharon was instrumental in securing her team's quality accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM).
During the ceremony, we also took the opportunity to shine a light on the people who have dedicated a large part of their careers to Gazprom Energy with our five and ten year Long Service Awards. See a selection of these winners below.
