The aesthetic appeal of the modern office provides a two-fold benefit. With employee wellbeing increasingly valued, a comfortable, attractive office can make for happier staff, while investors and clients are sure to be suitably wowed by their impressive surroundings.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or giving your current location a makeover, a modern approach to office space can be hugely valuable. The leading pay-per-mile insurance company in the US, Metromile is leaving the country’s more traditional approach to the sector in the dust. Innovative, simple and affordable, its offices reflect this original, inventive mindset and a love of vintage automobile vibes that’s impossible to ignore.

 Founded in 2009 by siblings Giles and Niki Fuchs, OSiT provides serviced offices across London and regions of the UK, going beyond the traditional approach to office design, catering to individual needs and creating offices which reflect that. And, because they own the freehold to its buildings, they’ve really gone to town on their designs, with features including:



Virgin Experience Days

Seeking ideas from their employees, Virgin Experience Days re-designed their offices to better reflect Virgin’s iconic branding while encompassing the brand values that power their office’s duties on a day-to-day basis. The new workspace provides plenty of areas for collaboration between departments, and includes:

One of the UK’s longest-standing vehicle-tracking companies, Masternaut combine technical expertise, simple user experience and consulting services to get the best out of vehicle fleets across all manner of sectors.

Their offices, meanwhile, were designed in the 19th century by architect George Fowler Jones and features a truly spectacular environment. As such, Masternaut’s employees get to work in an office with a lavish exterior and a modern interior.



Gazprom Energy

Finally, a little introduction to our own brand-new workspace.

Having moved office in 2018, the new Gazprom Energy HQ in Manchester has been designed to inspire collaboration between teams. An open-plan office with plenty of meeting and idea-sharing areas; the new workspace helps encourage the wider team to interact and engage.

There is also a strong emphasis on health and wellbeing, with bike storage and shower facilities, as well as weekly fruit deliveries. With a Winter Garden currently in construction, this focus stretches to mental wellbeing as well as physical health.
