With a third of the business’ controllable cost spent on energy, Muntons required a competitive and flexible business energy contract that met the company’s requirements. Gazprom Energy provided this, and Muntons remain extremely satisfied with the service we offer.

Muntons joined Gazprom Energy back in 2010, after their energy contract expired. Given their previous supplier was unable to offer a package which met all of their requirements, Muntons were interested in finding a competitive gas supply contract that offered greater flexibility — and our flexible contract delivered the type of service they were looking for.

As well as flexible energy purchasing, accurate billing was essential to Muntons’ business gas contract. With a significant amount invested in gas annually, the company needed precise monthly invoices, even in the event of technical issues.

Our AMR (automated meter reading) systems, as well as our responsive customer service, have proved crucial in offering the accurate billing required at Muntons, as Mr Newsam explains:

“The team at Gazprom Energy were very quick to resolve an issue we once had with an AMR device – one of its correctors stopped working and this halted the flow of data which Gazprom Energy uses to calculate our monthly invoice. In addition, the team also prevented this happening in future by installing back-up correctors which means we will continue to receive bills based on our actual gas consumption, even if there are any technical issues at this side.”
