Lancashire-based fireplace and stove retailer Burning Desires opened for business in 1991 and has been a customer of Gazprom Energy’s for over nine years. With a full range of working fireplaces in its showroom, the business's gas and electricity consumption is one of its chief monthly outgoings. When Managing Director Sean Treaddell was looking for a new supplier, high on the list of priorities were good customer service and accurate billing, and he got both of these and more when he switched to Gazprom Energy.

Gazprom Energy installed an advanced meter for the business, which sends actual consumption data to the supplier, removing the need for estimated bills and providing the business with more information on its consumption.
